About NextLife Emerging…

Can Big Data using artificial intelligence (AI), fusion technology, and predictive analytics generate your behavior in future life circumstances?   If so, does it matter if the corporeal you no longer exists?  Who would care about that surviving “virtual” person?

NextLife™ believes that while the corporeal reality of a person may vanish, their thoughts and feelings during their sentient existance remain in their Big Data trail. Teased out by AI, fusion technology, and predictive analytics, these can be made accessible to family, friends and relatives, easing life’s transition through recollections, reflections and more importantly, informing forward looking life choices via verbal avatorial dialogue.

At the time of its initial launch in 2015 (Provisional Patent 62/118,581 for this was filed February 20, 2015), the NextLife™ proposal to develop and monetize a virtual human from its Big Data trail could reasonably have been considered “…crazy… things that look like they are just nuts” (Andreessen).  But that has changed dramatically following the ideation of this by notable futurists on the MSM , and now Facebook’s “Metaverse”.

Most significantly, the market for such a product has also shown movement by other enablers such as Google, “…they want to focus on…human-like artificial intelligence and life-extension technology…” . (Indeed, Google seems to be following the approach suggested by NextLife™ in its submission to Google last January 8, 2019 for Google’s “AI Impact Challenge “.)

Of particular interest though is the recent news from NVIDIA Omniverse… “The science-fiction metaverse is near ”, and Facebook, Roblox See the ‘Metaverse’ as Key to the Internet’s Next Phase .

Provisional Patent 62/118,581 for this was filed February 20, 2015.

Statement of Work

The First Priority of this raise is to launch an app for a memoir that sells and generates a profit. This is referred to as the “Initial” or “First Product”. Note that this product is relatively well defined and within the capability of existing technology.

A Second Priority is the evolvement of the First Product by measured, incremental improvements leading to an augmented virtual reality display inhabited by the deceased as a sentient being along with viewer(s) inserted and scaled to screen. This product has seen a prototype stage . Commensurately, funding beyond the First Product is anticipated to involve discussions and negotiations leading to a funding model suitable to both funder(s) and NextLife ™.

“With your permission you give us more information about you, about your friends… We don’t need you to type at all. We know where you are. We know where you’ve been. We can more or less know what you’re thinking about.” Eric Schmidt (Oct. 4, 2010)
